Need a coach or clinician to give you or your students that competitive edge for an upcoming performance, festival or jury? Philharmonia Baroque Mobile Mentors will visit and coach on a lesson in progress*. A Mobile Mentor might offer stylistic suggestions, provide historic context about the composers and compositions, demonstrate important elements of performance practice and offer practical advice about ensemble playing.
Mobile Mentors are specialists from Philharmonia Baroque’s Orchestra or Chorale
Mobile Mentors are provided free of charge for one session of coaching tailored to the individual needs of the teacher requesting the service. Vocal and instrumental instruction are available from qualified professional members of Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra and Chorale. The repertoire should involve music in the historical range running from the early Baroque through the early Romantic periods. It is ideal for middle school to undergraduate student ensembles.
