Walnut Creek

A new venue in Contra Costa! In 2010-2011, our subscription season programs for September, November, March, and April include performances at the Hofmann Theater in the Lesher Center for the Arts. The center is on Civic Drive in downtown Walnut Creek, close to the BART station.

Public Transportation

BART: Exit at Walnut Creek. Walk 2 blocks south on North California Blvd. (behind the Target store) to Civic Drive. Turn left onto Civic Drive, and you will see the Center’s main entrance.

Driving Directions

From Oakland/San Francisco:
Take HIGHWAY 24 to 680 NORTH
Exit at YGNACIO VALLEY ROAD
Turn RIGHT off exit
Turn RIGHT onto CALIFORNIA BLVD.
Turn LEFT onto CIVIC DRIVE
Turn RIGHT onto LOCUST STREET
The parking garage is on your right

From South/San Jose:
Take Highway 680 NORTH
Exit at OLYMPIC BLVD.
Turn RIGHT onto Olympic from exit
Turn LEFT onto CALIFORNIA BLVD.
Turn RIGHT onto CIVIC DRIVE
Turn RIGHT onto LOCUST STREET
The parking garage is on your right

From Concord/Sacramento:
Take 680 SOUTH
Exit at WALNUT CREEK/NORTH MAIN STREET, go toward SOUTH MAIN STREET
Go STRAIGHT, staying right toward CALIFORNIA BLVD.
Turn LEFT onto CIVIC DRIVE
Turn RIGHT onto LOCUST STREET.
The parking garage is on your right

Parking Suggestions
Parking is available in the Locust Street Garage, adjacent to the Lesher Center. Street parking can be found around the Center. Parking can also be found in other garages in downtown Walnut Creek
