David Challinor

David Challinor joined Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra in August, 2002. The Orchestra is his sixth arts non-profit organization; others have included SF Jazz and live theaters in Santa Barbara, California (Lobero Theatre, Ensemble Theatre Project, Garvin Theatre, and Center Stage Theatre). A fan of classical, jazz, and world music, he once hosted a weekly jazz radio program 52nd Street on the Southern California NPR affiliate KCLU, programming music and interviewing musicians. He loves films (especially foreign and classics) and British comedy, and wishes Jordi Savall would guest conduct (and someday play with) every season.
