Courtney Beck

Director of Development

Prior to her present position, Courtney Beck served as Associate Director of Development for SF Jazz. She has also been Endowment Campaign Director for the College Preparatory School in Berkeley, where she helped lead the completion of a $10 million endowment campaign drive in 2004.  She was co-founder of a full-service, nationwide development and marketing consulting firm, providing services to major American symphony orchestras from 1996 to 2000.  Ms. Beck conducted feasibility studies and developed strategic platforms for endowment, bridge and capital programs for clients that included The Kennedy Center and the Cleveland, Minnesota, Chicago, Atlanta, Boston, Seattle, and Detroit symphony orchestras. Beck holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Performance from the University of Michigan and is an active member of professional fundraising service organizations throughout the Bay Area.
