About Us
The Orchestra
Meet our distinguished music director, Nicholas McGegan, and our extraordinary musicians.
The Chorale
The Philharmonia Baroque Chorale provides the Orchestra with a vocal complement. The Chorale is fluent in the stylistic language of the baroque era. Meet our choral director, Bruce Lamott.
Mission Statement
We strive to provide our audiences with enriching, inspiring music – performed live, with the highest artistic values, and in a manner fully informed by history and scholarship. These objectives are outlined in our Mission Statement.
History of Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra
The Orchestra debuted in 1981. Now, in our 30th season, we continue to reach out to audiences in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Read about our history.
Administration and Staff
Meet the members of our staff. See postings for current open positions and internships.
Board of Directors
The directors ensure that Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra is meeting the objectives defined in the Mission Statement.
